We’ve put together the answers to the most frequently asked questions here to help you better understand our services and your pet’s well-being.

To ensure a smooth and efficient consultation, here are a few tips on how to prepare for your pet’s visit:

  • Make an appointment: Contact us by telephone to arrange a convenient time for your visit, indicating whether you have a preferred vet in our team.
  • Prepare medical documents: If your pet has a health record, passport or recent test results, remember to bring them with you.
  • Make a note of any symptoms or questions: If your pet has a particular problem (change in behaviour, loss of appetite, vomiting, lameness, etc.), make a note of the signs to discuss with your vet.
  • Check the animal’s diet: Some tests require the animal to fast (we will inform you if this is necessary). 
  • Use a secure transport cage, ideally covered with a light fabric to reduce stress.
  • Place a blanket or something familiar with its scent in the cage.
  • In some cases, the stress of transport may be more difficult to manage, and mild sedatives may be recommended. If you know that your pet is particularly stressed or anxious during transport, let us know when you book your appointment.
  • Keep your dog on a lead when you arrive.
  • Provide a reward (treat, toy) to reassure him.
  • Transport them in a suitable cage, with hay or a soft blanket to reassure them.
  • Avoid draughts and temperature variations.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment for your pet, we ask you to inform us 24 hours in advance for normal consultations and 48 hours in advance for surgery or dental appointments, so that we can offer this slot to other pet owners in need.

In the event of an emergency, contact us as soon as possible to inform us of the situation. Our vets will be able to guide and advise you on the first aid to be applied before you go to the practice.
